'Two gifts children should be given, one is roots and the other is wings'

Tenterden Ballet Studios offers many performance opportunities, annual shows and enter children for Imperial Society of Teachers of Dancing (ISTD), Tap, Modern and Jazz examinations as well as Royal Academy of Dance (RAD) Ballet examinations on a regular basis. After enrollment, pupils are encouraged to attend regularly in order to progress.

We encourage our students to audition for associate programmes, summer schools and workshops to further their knowledge and training. Our students successfully reach high standards within the school with the option of being able to enter the professional industry and audition for full time colleges and schools.

Many pupils have auditioned and been accepted by the English Youth Ballet, National Youth Ballet, London Chidlren's Ballet. Some of the further training of former pupils includes: the Associate programme of the Royal Ballet School, English National Ballet School, Masters Performing Arts, Central School of Ballet, the Arts Educational School, The Brits School and the Royal Swedish Ballet.
